A design team has been chosen...

Project Kaida is the Nepali name for The Gurkha Museum’s extensive redevelopment. With one of the aims to become the global reference centre for Gurkha heritage, quite correctly, the redevelopment started with the transformation of our library into our global research and education centre.

Another outcome for Project Kaida is make The Gurkha Museum a must-visit destination. The public galleries on the ground and first floor will be stripped out and designed. After a robust and rigorous process, PLB Ltd are the design team selected to take Project Kaida forward. Consultations will now take place over the next twelve months with key stakeholders and supporters to assist the design team in developing plans for new public galleries for The Gurkha Museum.
