Venue Hire - The McDonald Gallery

The McDonald Gallery is a magnificent function room within The Gurkha Museum. The Gallery houses the Museum’s unique and extremely valuable picture, silver, medal and badge collections and as such is an integral part of the Museum display area. It is used for exhibitions and education workshops and is available to hire for private functions.

It is furnished throughout to the highest standards and includes private bar area and kitchen as well as the main dining area.

Functions within the McDonald Gallery cover lunches and dinners, seminars and conferences, receptions, lectures, cocktail parties and more. We can work with you to tailor an event to suit your needs and offer a variety of drinks and food packages.

Day Delegate Rate

In addition to social functions and lectures we offer day delegate packages, with the Gallery set up in boardroom or conference style to suit your needs. The price per head includes:

  • Lunch time visit to the Museum or free return ticket for all delegates

    Venue Hire - The Library

    The Library, which houses hundreds of the Museum’s books and archives is also available to hire for meetings. The room has a maximum capacity of 30 and prices start from £80 + VAT to hire for the day or can be hired alongside The Gallery for an additional £50
