Consultations continue

We have recently conducted surveys in Winchester’s High Street, those of tourist organisations and families.  To understand exactly what the different members of a multi-generational family want from The Gurkha Museum, during half term, we held a Children’s Curry, Culture and Craft Day.  We hosted and consulted over one hundred people and heard from the youngest toddler, the primary school children, the cool tween and self-conscious teenager, as well as parents and grandparents.

All these comments are being fed into the ‘Interpretation Plan’. The Gurkha Majors and Unit Heritage Officers, from across all six current capbadges, will have the opportunity to comment upon the stories they would like included in the redesign of the Museum later this month.
