The Gin of the Gurkhas.

A small batch gin specially produced by the Handmade Gin Company for The Gurkha Museum. This refreshing gin contains botanicals from the foothills of the Himalayas in Nepal, the home of the Gurkhas, including cubeb, juniper and cardamom.

Paltane, a Nepali word, means a group of friends who fight for one cause, such as an Army, Brigade, Corps or Regiment. Paltane is the gin of the Gurkhas and represents over 200 years of friendship, sacrifice, regimental fraternity and bravery.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Paltane Gin
  • 1x Twelve Below Classic Premium Tonic
  • 1x Orange Wheel
  • 1x Sprig of Thyme

Method

  • Fill tumbler with cubed ice.
  • Add gin and Tonic giving it a quick stir with upturned bar spoon.
  • Garnish with Orange and Thyme
