Join us for a compelling journey into history with our online lecture, part of the Path to Victory series, featuring the legend Lieutenant Colonel John Philip Cross OBE on his 100th birthday. 

A celebrated veteran of the Second World War, Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) JP Cross has devoted over 40 years to the Gurkhas and Nepal.

In this engaging session, in his unique indomitable style, Lt Col Cross shares his firsthand account and personal perspective of the Burma Campaign.  He promises an insightful reflection on the end of the Second World War and its lasting impact.  Prepare to be transported to a time of valour and sacrifice as we uncover the powerful stories that shaped our world today.  This is not just a lecture; it is an invitation to connect with history through the eyes of a Second World War Gurkha veteran.

The online lecture will be streamed on two occasions:
 
1. Friday 20 June at 1900 hrs BST, and
2. Saturday 21 June at 1415 hrs BST / 1900 hrs NPT – on JPX’s 100th birthday!
