Brunei Revolt – 60th Anniversary

On the 10th December 2022, veterans from the  2nd Gurkha Rifles gathered at the Museum to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the start of the Brunei revolt (8th December 1962). After visiting the museum, Gurkhas and Officers sat down for bhat (curry lunch) and shared stories of their experiences in Brunei during the early 1960’s. This was followed by a minutes silence to remember those who tragically lost their lives.
