The story of some Top Secret Claret Operations during Borneo Confrontation in 1965
Speaker: Brigadier Christopher Bullock OBE MC who was commanding Support Company of 2nd Battalion 2nd King Edward VIIs Own Gurkha Rifles (The Sirmoor Rifles) recounts several ambushes and incidents whilst on cross border raids into Indonesia. For one such ambush he was awarded the Military Cross and two soldiers of his company were also awarded a Distinguished Conduct Medal and a Military Medal. *Event includes Coffee and Biscuits on arrival at 10.30. Followed by Lecture at 11.00 and Curry Lunch by Mrs Bindhya Gurung at 1.00pm. With Cash Bar.
