Burns Night at The Gurkha Museum
Gurkhas have a long history and affiliation with Scotland and Scottish Regiments. From the Storming at the Heights of Dargai, where the Gurkhas and the Gordon Highlanders fought together during the Tirah Campaign on the North West Frontier in the late 19th century to Brigadier General Bruce’s service with the Indian Army, alongside the Gurkhas. The bonds that exist between Gurkhas and Scottish Regiments are clear.
This Burns Night,we celebrate this relationship, as well as the great poet Robert Burns, with a fantastic Burns Night celebration in The Gurkha Museum in Winchester.
