75 Years of the Queen’s Gurkha Engineers

The Queen’s Gurkha Engineers (QGE) celebrated their 75th regimental birthday in October 2023.  To honour this significant milestone, an exhibition on the history of the Queen’s Gurkha Engineers was first hosted at The Royal Engineers Museum.

From 22nd January – 24th February 2024, the QGE 75 exhibition is on display at The Gurkha Museum in Winchester. The exhibition outlines QGE’s timeline, starting at their founding in 1948, through to recent deployments and operations.  The exhibition includes an impressive replica of an authentic Nepali house.

Entry to the exhibition is free with admission to the Museum.
